Camino de Santiago Termal 2026: two opportunities to walk the Camino with comfort and recovery
There is now very little time left before our October Camino de Santiago Termal departure. In 2026, Máxima Bienestar is organising two group journeys in a special format combining the active experience of the Camino with comfort and restorative thermal care after each stage.
The first departure will take place from 11 to 17 October 2026. For those unable to join in October, there will be a second opportunity from 15 to 21 November 2026.
This is the Camino for travellers who want an authentic walking experience without giving up comfort. Rather than changing accommodation every night, participants spend 6 nights at Balneario Laias 4★ in Galicia, returning to the same hotel after each stage. Days are dedicated to walking. Evenings are for thermal waters, restorative treatments and proper rest.
More than 100 kilometres to Santiago de Compostela Over several active days, the group covers approximately 110 kilometres along the route: Ourense – Cea – Oseira – Dozón – Silleda – Vedra – Santiago de Compostela. The final stage reaches Santiago, where participants can experience one of Europe’s great pilgrimage destinations and, subject to the official requirements, receive the Compostela certificate. Yet the Camino is about far more than kilometres. It is an opportunity to experience Galicia through its landscapes, history, villages, local gastronomy and the unique atmosphere of the Way of St James.
Active days, thermal evenings The distinctive feature of this programme is the balance between movement and recovery. After each stage, participants return to Balneario Laias 4★ to rest and enjoy its thermal facilities. The programme includes:
6 nights at Balneario Laias 4★; full board; daily access to the thermal area; 3 hydromassage baths; 3 hydrotherapy sessions; 1 restorative massage; 1 sports leg massage; professional guide support; transfers and support bus; 4 excursions; Compostela certificate; medical insurance.
This format makes it possible to experience the physical challenge and emotional character of the Camino while giving the body time to recover at the end of every day.
Two departures in 2026 11–17 October 2026 — the next departure. 15–21 November 2026 — a second opportunity for those unable to join in October.
Places are limited.
Camino de Santiago Termal by Máxima Bienestar offers a different way to walk the Camino without choosing between adventure and comfort: trails, history and Galician landscapes by day; thermal waters, treatments and rest in the evening.
