Castilla Termal Palacio de Avellaneda 5★ is expanding its Wellness offering with the opening of its new Thermal Pool, bringing mineral-medicinal water into the heart of the guest experience.
The hotel is located in Peñaranda de Duero, Burgos, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero wine region. It occupies the historic 16th-century Palacio de los Condes de Miranda, a Renaissance building listed as a Site of Cultural Interest and now transformed into a five-star destination for rest and wellbeing.
A historic palace completes its thermal experience
The opening of the Thermal Pool marks an important step for a project conceived from the beginning as more than a luxury hotel.
Guests can now add a thermal experience based on mineral-medicinal water to their stay. Castilla Termal has already introduced a dedicated Thermal Escape, combining accommodation, breakfast and access to the pool.
Wellness among heritage and vineyards
The setting gives Palacio de Avellaneda a particularly distinctive identity.
A stay here can combine architecture, local gastronomy, wine culture and thermal wellbeing within one of Spain’s most celebrated wine regions.
Guests can spend the day exploring Peñaranda de Duero or the wineries of Ribera del Duero and return to the hotel for a slower evening centred around thermal water and relaxation.
The property currently offers 80 rooms and suites, where contemporary comfort is integrated into the palace’s historic architecture.
A new reason to discover Palacio de Avellaneda
For Máxima Bienestar, the opening of the Thermal Pool strengthens Palacio de Avellaneda as a complete new Wellness destination in Castilla y León.
It brings together mineral-medicinal water, heritage, gastronomy, wine tourism and restorative travel within one experience.
Castilla Termal Palacio de Avellaneda now begins a new chapter as a true 5★ thermal destination in the heart of Ribera del Duero.
